Victoria Gordon is an artist, designer, and illustrator living and working in Biddeford, Maine. Victoria works in a variety of mediums including watercolor, digital, and acrylic.
She loves living in Biddeford and has enjoyed working with local non-profit organizations such as Engine and Project Emmersive, as well as with commercial clients such as Gloss, Banded Brewing Co., Pizza by Alex, and more!
Victoria is inspired by the natural world, texture, nostalgia, and a sense of place.
ARTIST STATEMENT
My paintings start with photographs, sketches, and recollections from everyday life and become quiet meditations on loneliness, nostalgia, memory, and desire. Like many Maine artists, my work is inspired by a sense of place, but my process prioritizes mood, texture, and color over rendering recognizable landmarks or places.
